The Rhode Island Rams men’s golf team will participate in the Wildcat Spring Invitational hosted by Villanova on April 6. The event, held at Galloway National Golf Club in Galloway Township, New Jersey, marks the team’s return to competition after nearly a month.
The tournament features a field of 12 teams, including Binghamton, Bucknell, Colgate, Georgetown, La Salle, LIU, Loyola Maryland, Navy, Penn, Seton Hall and the host Wildcats. Representing Rhode Island are Tyler Bruneau, Tony Liu, Aidan O’Donovan, Luke Stennett and Josiah Tong.
The Rams last played at the Surf and Beach Club Invitational from March 9-10. This three-round event provides an opportunity for the team to build momentum as they approach the latter part of their season.
Competition will take place on a par-71 course measuring 6,870 yards. The format is expected to challenge both individual skill and team strategy across multiple rounds.
As the Rams return to action against strong regional opponents at Galloway National Golf Club this week, they aim to gain valuable experience heading into future tournaments.
