This matchup is the second and final meeting between Rhode Island and Quinnipiac during the 2026 season. The teams previously played on March 24 in Hamden, Connecticut, where Rhode Island secured a decisive victory.
In their last encounter, the Rams defeated Quinnipiac 17-5. Rhode Island’s offense produced twelve hits and took advantage of four errors by Quinnipiac. Derek Maceda led the way for the Rams by going three-for-six at bat, scoring once and collecting two runs batted in.
