Eversource has informed the City of a construction project that will impact High, Ladd and Market Streets. The affected areas and work phasing are shown in the image below. Although this is not a City project, City staff is involved to facilitate communications with all affected residents and businesses.
Mayor Jorge O. Elorza, Providence City Councilwoman Carmen Castillo (Ward 9), State Senator Ana Quezada (Dist. 2), State Representative Grace Diaz (Dist. 11), members of the City’s Public Property team and community members broke ground today on the Elmwood Community Center renovation project. The $3.25 million project is part of the City’s coordinated Capital Infrastructure Investments and funded by $1.5 million from the Capital Improvement Plan and $1.5 million from Providence’s share of the American Rescue Plan Act.
The New Hampshire State Primary is scheduled for September 13, 2022. Kelli Barnaby, City Clerk for the City of Portsmouth has announced that anyone wishing to make any change to their party affiliation, must do so by 6 pm on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 in order for the change to apply to their voting in the 2022 State Primary Election in September. The Board of Registrars will also be available to make those changes at City Hall from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on Tuesday, May 31.
