86 percent of applicants to Roger Williams University were admitted for fall 2018

At Roger Williams University, 90 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 52 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Bristol enrolled 4,860 students in fall 2018, including 4,537 in undergraduate and 323 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

11 percent of undergraduates are residents of Rhode Island, and 88 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (76 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (8 percent).

The school admitted 86 percent of the 9,147 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 13 percent enrolled.
