27 percent of applicants to International Yacht Restoration School were admitted for fall 2018

At International Yacht Restoration School, 61 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 93 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private not-for-profit institution in Newport enrolled 74 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

39 percent of undergraduates are residents of Rhode Island, and 61 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (91 percent) and Black or African American (4 percent).

The school admitted 27 percent of the 63 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 100 percent enrolled.
