Providence Parks Department, Community Partners to Host Family-Friendly “Wicked Walk: A Trick-or-Treat Experience”

The City of Providence, the Providence Parks Department and community partners today announced “Wicked Walk: A Trick-or-Treat Experience,” a family-friendly Halloween event happening at the Michael S. Van Leesten Memorial Bridge on Saturday, October 29, 2022.

The event will feature trick-or-treating across the bridge from 3:00PM to 6:00PM, beginning at the South Water Street side of the bridge.

In addition to trick-or-treating, kids and families can enjoy activities in Providence Innovation District Park and along the river walkway. Activities will include a Halloween themed StoryWalk®, an interactive Ghost Haunt Adventure Walk, a “Spooky Skulls & Creepy Crawlies” Mobile Museum exhibit from the Roger Williams Museum of Natural History and Planetarium, Art In The Parks featuring various crafts, and more! Providence River Boat Co. will be offering Spooky Story Boat Rides until 5PM. Adults can also enjoy offerings from The Guild Beer Garden from 12PM to 8PM.

In the event of rain, the event will be held on October 30, 2022.
