The white population in Newport increases by 129 people between 2017 and 2018

The white population in Newport increased by 129 people between 2017 and 2018, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey.

Since 2010 the white population has decreased by 1,206 people.

The Rhode Island municipality that saw the largest population growth in the white community between the same time period was Providence.
